Salmon with Avocado and Capers


This is so easy to make! The healthy fats from the avocado and salmon make my skin glow! Plus, it also helps out the waistline.

What You Will Need:

3 Ounce Filet of Salmon, baked

1 Avocado, sliced

2 Tbsp Capers

1 tsp Dried Onion

1Tbsp Dill

1/2 tsp Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Crackers or Cucumber Chips if Desired


Prep your Mis en Place! 🙂 It has been a week since I typed that out and it still makes me smile.


Pre heat your oven to 350.

On the stove, heat a small pan with 1/2 tsp of olive oil and dried onion.

Allow the dried onion to crisp then place the salmon in the pan with salt and pepper to create a sear.


Sear both sides of the salmon for about 1 minute each then place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.


While the salmon is baking, slice your avocado and start assembling your hors d’ oeuvre


Crackers or cucumber chips work well.

Cracker, avocado, salmon, capers, dill, salt and pepper to taste.


Serving Size is 1 Salmon filet with 1/4 of sliced avocado and all the capers and seasoning you would enjoy!
