What You Will Need:
3 Large Bartlett Pears, skins peeled
4 Tbsp Citrus Herbal Tea (loose leaf) Teavana has a nice one.
4 Tbsp Dried Lavender
10 Fresh Sage leaves
2 Tbsp Local Honey
1 Quart of Water
Get all your ingredients together and prep your mis en place
On the stove, in a medium-sized pot add the water, herbal tea and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat to medium and add the honey, and pears.
Cover the pot and let the pears simmer for 20 minutes then add the fresh sage.
Continue to let the pears simmer for 5-8 more minutes.
Once the pears are done, remove them with a ladle or slotted spoon and serve.
